What a great find - a friendly local garage selling high quality low mileage used cars - I am a car lover but hate the process of buying a second hand car as i don't like pushy salesmen trying to sell me rubbish cars that they know nothing about - this was a completely different experience - Chris is a very knowledgeable person who does not try and persuade you to buy - he doesn't need to! He just provides genuine honest advice and lets the quality of his cars do the rest - a great place that I would thoroughly recommend
I didn't buy here in the end due to my own financial restrictions. Had it not been for that I have no doubt I would have! Run by Husband and Wife I was worried about attending a small dealership. I was wrong to have this worry. Their customer service skills were brilliant. Not at all pushy and just lovely people. Their cars were immaculately presented. They clearly take great pride in their business. Having been so disappointed having attended some of the large dealerships such as Carbase (Bristol) and Evans Halshaw (Newport) and either had disgraceful customer service, or cars presented in a disgusting state, my visit to Stonewell Motors was a breath of fresh air. I'm sure anyone attending would find the same.

A good experience where it is clear that the owner knows his trade, and gives you an honest assessment of both your car, if you're part ex'ing, your car, but also a fair price if you aren't. A good range of cars all reasonably priced and good after sales service. We had a small problem with the car we bought and the part was replaced and fitted with no issues. Been in this location for many years and has an excellent reputation to maintain, which it does.

We were looking for a very tidy Ford C-Max preferably ex- mobility around 3 years old, when we found Stonewell motors online. We went to have a look as their were two models available, in fact there was a very large selection of MPV vehicles for sale, along with SUVs, hatchbacks, saloons, and most of them were 1 owner ex- mobility cars. We found the owner Chris, very helpful and ivery friendly with a no pressure attitude to selling his cars. The cars are very reasonably priced and he gave us a very good part exchange price on our previous car plus a good in house warranty on the Ford C-Max. we had a very thorough discussion about what I wanted. I was given lots of patience, information and time. After a Test drive I decided which model, but disliked the colour available, Hey Ho! The same model was magiced up in very acceptable RED for the same price. I'm a very happy customer and happy with my new-to-me Nissan.

I needed a new car as my car had failed the Mot. I was worried about getting a car with click and collect during covid but the transaction was so easy. It was all done on line and when I picked up the car the paperwork was waiting for me on the passenger seat. Totally covid safe, cannot fault the handover at all. The proprietor also called me to make sure I was happy once I had collected it. The car was immaculate, I am so happy.

I bought a Toyota verso The owner is an honest and genuine man, he was very friendly and approachable, he made sure I knew exactly what I was buying and made the whole process so easy. He kept in contact with me via email, to answer any questions I had, and as I couldn't get down their to view the car I wanted due to work. I sent my sister down to give it a test drive and put the deposit down. I was then able to facetime her to view it before actually going down myself. The owner was brilliant and I'd definitely buy from him again and recommend his company to family and friends. Can't fault them at all.

Buying a car is not a nice experience.. it makes a lot of people nervous.. you have to trust the seller.. I’m ex forces and not prone to being duped..however I was still obviously very wary.. I have to make it clear.. I’m not in any way affiliated with the seller.. it’s just my personal experience.. TRUST THIS GUY.. he cares about the buyer and goes the additional mile (pardoned the pun) .. the site is not obvious from the main road.. but believe me go visit and you won’t regret it.. a very relaxing non hard sell.. non corporate culture .. the car was immaculate .. the last thing to say is.. Very pleased with my new Nissan XTrail Tekna, bought through Stonewell Motors. The car lives up to all my expectations – passenger comfort and space, load carrying space and the 1.3 petrol engine seems to be very economical so far.
